Meet Jules-the former high school English teacher who swapped grading essays for selling dream homes—and let’s be honest, she’s probably much happier now! Her real estate adventure began in 2002, but before that, she was busy wrangling teenagers in Los Fresnos. Now, she's all about wrangling properties and has been living the "Island Life" on South Padre for over two decades. Clearly, the beach life suits her better than correcting grammar!
Jules hails from the Midwest (Indiana University alum, thank you very much), but she made her way to the tropical tip of Texas in 1991, realizing pretty quickly that the only thing snow is good for is avoiding it. Now, she’s fully committed to SPF, sand between her toes, and selling paradise. Jules made a splash in real estate her very first year by joining the RE/MAX 100% Club, which is kind of like winning an Oscar your rookie year—but with less fanfare and more contracts. And in case you’re wondering, yes, she did make her TV debut on HGTV’s Island Life in 2016. Clearly, she’s been famous longer than most of us!
When she’s not busy being a rockstar Realtor®, Jules is all about family. She’s got one son, a lovely daughter-in-law, two adorable grandkids, and her trusty canine sidekick, Lucy. Word has it, Lucy's just as good at sniffing out great deals as Jules is. But Jules isn’t just about closing deals; she’s all about community, too. Her resume reads like a "who's who" of local leadership: past president of the SPI Board of Realtors, a director for Walk for Women for over 20 years, and various other fancy titles that basically mean she’s a big deal around town. Plus, she’s stacked up an impressive list of certifications that make her a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist, a Residential Specialist, and an Accredited Buyer’s Representative, to name a few.
She’s also been a member of the RE/MAX 100% Club from 2014-2020, then casually upgraded to the RE/MAX Platinum Club in 2021—because why not? Oh, and did we mention she was named Realtor of the Year in 2018? Yeah, just a casual honor to add to her growing trophy case. And, of course, Jules earned her place in the RE/MAX Hall of Fame in 2021, where she can now bask in all her real estate glory. Jules is the kind of Realtor® you want in your corner, but don't worry, she never represents both buyers and sellers in the same deal—she’s all about giving each client 100% (just like her award).
