2023 is right around the corner, and South Padre Island is gearing up to greet the new year with a bang, and a cheers!
On Saturday, Dec. 31, Coconut Jacks will be hosting an “Island Fancy” New Year’s Eve Party, from 9 p.m. – 1 a.m. Nathan Hubble will provide live music, and there will be a “fancy dance” contest.
On the other side of the Queen Isabella Causeway, the Rio Grande Distillery will host Local’s Night New Year’s Eve Party. From 7 – 9:30 p.m. O’ Grady Ukulele will be performing live music, and locally distilled drinks will be served all night, however, they go on special at 8 p.m.
Back on the Island, the Quarterdeck Lounge at Isla Grand will be hosting the Isla Grand New Year’s Party Saturday night, from 8 p.m. – 2 a.m. The festivities will include live music, party favors and drawings for prizes. Limited space is available, and advance and pre-paid reservations are required with no refunds. Attendees must be 21 or older.
Up the road, that night Lobo Del Mar Café will be hosting “New Year’s Eve Bash at Lobo.” The bash starts at 6 p.m. and lasts until midnight. After a bagpipe tribute, the Lobo Band will perform live music. A special Bellydance performance will also take place during the evening.
