Hickman between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Please bring your own tools and storage containers for loading and transporting the mulch.
“Using mulch during the winter months will help conserve moisture in the soil, provide warmth and protect the roots from freezing,” said Victor Baldovinos, environmental health director. “Winter mulches are typically applied heavily in the fall and then removed in the spring when the weather warms up.”
