Agency Clears U.S. 77 for Interstate Upgrades

The Federal Highway Administration said they have received environmental clearance to upgrade a portion of U.S. 77 between Corpus Christi and Brownsville to interstate standards. This is huge  for South Texas because this is part of the Interstate 69 corridor that will connect South Texas to the Midwest and Canada. Transportation and infrastructure is the catalyst for efficient trade and the movement of goods from conception to the markets. It will bring more manufacturing and jobs to the Valley because it is critical for them to have these corridors to move their products.
