Meet Alycen

From the pharmacy to the beach, Alycen’s career is defined by a simple truth: no matter the industry, it’s all about the people and their needs. After 18 years as a pharmacist and manager (with a doctorate from UT Austin to boot!), Alycen traded San Antonio for the salt air of South Padre Island over 17 years ago. She brought that same high-level attention to detail and care to real estate in 2017—and she hasn’t slowed down since. Don’t let her modest personality fool you—her results are nothing short of dynamic. 

Alycen hit the ground running, quickly racking up RE/MAX Hall of Fame honors and multiple Chairman, Titan, and Diamond Awards. In 2021, her peers even voted her REALTOR® of the Year. Today, she’s the owner and leader of the Padre Elite Team, the #1 producing team on the island. She’s also a familiar face in the community, serving as the Secretary, Treasurer and President-elect for the South Padre Island Board of Realtors.
As the owner and leader of the Padre Elite Team, the team has expanded to six agents, maintaining its dominant market position through 2025 every year since 2011. 

When she’s not working with her clients, Alycen is likely seeking out her next big adventure. She married her husband, Kevin, in Iceland back in 2017 and loves everything from snowboarding and exercising to reading and traveling. A huge animal lover, she’s a former board member for the Laguna Madre Humane Society and shares her home with a whole "menagerie" of rescue pets.
